CURRENT SERMON SERIES: In The Parable of Prodigals and Pharisees series, the goal of the parable is to wake up all hearts that are spiritually asleep.  We are all sinners, but there are repentant sinners and rebellious sinners; broken sinners and boastful sinners.  There are the irreligious in our world, and there are the moralists.  The parable uncovers the essential message of Jesus, and will challenge all of us to see Christianity through God's eyes.  Charles Dickens called this parable:"The greatest short story ever written."  It is indeed a model of great literature, but it was told to leave spiritual lessons on our hearts and minds that would change our lives.  The message is so simple that even a child can follow the story line, yet it is profound enough to have been the subject of several classic book-length studies. Come prepared to worship by reading the passage for the week.

WHY YOU SHOULD COME TO WCBF: First and foremost is that the Bible is taught here. Our pastor has a teacher's heart and we examine the Scriptures verse-by-verse. Check out our sermon page to get a sample of what we mean. If you are seeking a relevant relationship with God we can direct you to the One who can give your life meaning. Because we are not a mega church, we value our volunteers and encourage your involvement. WCBF is a great place to make friends who come alongside you to help you through the tough times in life. Our Community Groups have been especially designed for this purpose. In our ultra busy lives, it is a place to leave our jobs and problems behind, and come together to concentrate on the God who loves us. It is a place where we can grow together.
