A LETTER FROM ROMELIA QUICK (Children's Ministries Director):![]()
Dear Woods Chapel Bible Fellowship Family:
As I write this letter, I first of all want to thank you for taking part in the lives of the children at Woods Chapel Bible Fellowship. Whether you realize it or not, you all have directly
or indirectly played a major part in the Children’s Ministry at WCBF. So many of you have dedicated your time and efforts throughout the years to helping with Sunday School, Happiness Club, VBS, the toddlers, and the nursery, among others. Even more importantly, you all have served as a great example for our children through the way you conduct your life. For that, I am very thankful to be a part of this wonderful ministry that God has truly blessed throughout the years.
As the new Children’s Ministry Director for WCBF, there are so many things that God has recently been laying upon my heart for our children. I am excited to see what doors will open and for the changes to come in the future for not only our Children’s Ministry, but WCBF as a whole.
One of my goals is to be able to better support the church and families as we strive to raise our children in a Christian environment. I am asking for your help! I've included a questionnaire for you to review and comment on. Please take some time to think and pray about the Children’s Ministry at WCBF and communicate with me your thoughts, ideas, challenges, and dreams for this ministry. For those of you who have young children, use this as an opportunity to sit down with them and ask for their input and to pray for our church. Thank you in advance for your feedback!
You all are a blessing to me and I am so thankful for the opportunity to work beside you as we ultimately serve God through this vital ministry that will help shape the future for not only our church, but several others. Please feel free to contact me at anytime. I would love to hear from you or simply just pray with you!!
VISION VERSE:
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give to you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deut. 6:5-7 NIV
