The Murphy’s have been in the Lord’s work since 1962, first as missionaries to the Jews, then the pastorate for eleven years. The Murphy’s organized a mission to the Roman Catholics in 1984. They merged that work with the local mission to the Jews in 2004. Muslims were added in 2008, giving them the only local society reaching out to the three great monotheistic faiths. | ||||

Tim, a physician, and Lori, a nurse, live and minister in Kenya among indigenous Kenyans, who are predominantly Christian, as well as refugees from Somalia, who are primarily Muslim. Tim is a staff physician at a local hospital, where he focuses on internal medicine. He also works at several outpatient clinics, which are sometimes in rural areas where medical care isn't as accessible. Pray for them as they minister to the physical and spiritual needs of the people. |
