PURPOSE: The purpose of the Production Arts Ministry here at WCBF is to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our visually driven ever-changing world through the use of technology and media, and to equip other ministries of the church to use the electronic ministry as a worship and outreach tool. The Production Arts Ministry not only provide the technical support for the worship services, but also produces audio/video recordings of various events teachings and sermons, which ae made available for sale or can be found on the sermon pages on this site.

There are many opportunities for you to serve, all of which are open for you to experience. Don't let any technical lingo scare you, we are here to help you learn, and to have a lot of fun in the process! Don't worry if you don't have experience. As long as yu have the desire, this is where you can get the experience.

This is a behind-the-scenes type of ministry and it can be easy to forget that it even exists. But if its volunteers all stayed home, even for one weekend, people would instantly understand what a vital part this ministry is to our church. Do you have a natural gift for electronics, sound or video equipment or a desire to learn about it or simply a desire to serve the body of Christ? If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, then you are invited to join us!

AVAILABLE OPPORTUNITIES: (1) Audio Engineers - control the volume levels for all mics and instruments used on the stage mixed in the sound booth; (2) Slides - you work on a computer and change lyrics, announcements, sermon outlines etc. that are projected on the auditorium screen. (3) Lighting Control - you will control all stage and house lighting; (4) PowerPoint Designer - make/design the slides for music, various events and announcemnts; (5) Photographer/Videographer - if you have a great camera and would be available to photgraph and record significant moments in our church's life, we would love to include you on our team.
