SHORT-TERM WOMEN'S STUDIES:
Made to Crave – a 7-week study that will help you to satisfy your deepest desire with God, not food. Study books are $16. Meets in the Worship Center on Monday at 6:30pm. Contact:Pam Finter.
Mercy Triumphs: James – a 9-week Beth Moore study of the book of James. Study books are $20. Childcare will be provided by reservation only (call church office). This study is offered two times: Monday at 6:30pm (meets in Jennifer Bultman’s home) and Tuesday mornings at 9:30am at WCBF’s worship center. This study begins January 23, 2012. WOMEN'S RETREAT 2012: Mark your calendars for our women’s retreat this year! Our dates are September 28-29 and we are pleased to announce our special speaker will be Beth Guckenberger. Plan now to join us.
ONE-ON-ONE DISCIPLESHIP: Are you timid about joining a Bible study because you fear you may not know as much as others, but you dearly want to know more about God and His Word? Contact Alice Palermo or our pastor’s wife, Candy Williams, about a one-on-one study. This is great for new Christians as well as those who would like this unique opportunity to dig deep into the foundations of our faith.
LADIES IN TOUCH: This group is open to women of all ages. Our goal is to foster a fun, relaxed atmosphere where we can develop close personal relationships with others. We meet at 10AM, on the third Saturday of each month, in various locations, so please check your church bulletin or the website calendar for the latest details. The two hours includes refreshments, visiting and sharing insights into what God is doing in our lives and other ministry opportunities. Contact Ellen Frantz for more information.
WISDOM SEEKERS is a Ladies Bible Study which meets on Monday mornings, at 10:00 AM, at the home of Estella Johnson. The study is designed to encourage each one to study God's Word, to grow in our walk with Jesus, and to fellowship with one another by cultivating our love for our sisters in Christ. A portion of the morning is dedicated to sharing and praying for each other. The group is made up of ladies of various ages and positions in life, from retired grandmothers to homemakers with small children as well as career ladies. Our meetings are informal and not intimidating to new believers, we are there to help each other. Call Wilma Davis at 816-373-2064 to find out the current book or the Bible we are studying.
MOM'S PRAYER GROUP: Join us in the church library Thursdays from 1-2:00PM to pray for our children. Contact Ronnee Schweizer: 229-2071.
BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP (BSF) is also a great group from the community that meets together to study God’s Word. BSF studies throughout the US and around the world all utilize four elements in their sessions: daily questions for individual Bible study, discussion groups, lectures and study notes. Their yearlong studies are coordinated with your children's school calendar. Find the times, locations and days that work best for you on the BSF website.
