The youth ministry at WCBF is a place for students to grow.  Our desire is to see students surrender their lives to Jesus Christ.  Through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, worship, prayer, service, and fellowship we are making disciples.  We strive to equip students for good works by building a foundation of truth so they are prepared to run the race set before them.  Our goal is to be a community of young believers, walking in a manner worthy of the Lord.  We would love for you to join us in that pursuit.

10:45 - Noon

During the 2nd Worship Service on Sunday mornings, 6th – 8th graders meet in the Youth Room.  After a time of food and fellowship, students are fed the Word of God.  Through expository preaching and teaching young people are encountered by divine truth.  Students are challenged to examine the Scriptures further during the week and encouraged to personal Bible study, mediation, and prayer.  Spiritual growth requires knowing what the Bible says, and that is the focus of our Sunday Middle School Program.

Divin’ In
On Wednesday nights at 6:00PM, 6th – 12th graders gather in the Youth Room for fellowship, worship, Bible study, and prayer.  The WCBF Youth Praise Band leads us in the praise and contemplation of our Creator and Savior.  Following worship the students split up into smaller groups to dig into God’s Word.  Our Bible study groups are led by adult teachers that accurately handle the truth, helping students to search the Scriptures and draw out the instruction God has provided for us.  At the close of Bible study the focus is turned to prayer.  A time of individual and group prayer is facilitated.  Our desire is to build a practice of prayer in the students so that God is honored and faith is strengthened.

Praise Band
Worship is “focusing on and responding to God.”  True worship involves more than just singing.  It is a whole life honoring and glorifying to God.  Students involved in this area of ministry are challenged to be examples of living worship.  Our Youth Praise Band has the great responsibility of leading their peers in earnest worship each Wednesday night at Divin’ In.
